CUBEDIN and Forcys Partner to Deliver Modular Mine Countermeasure Solutions
November 2024 – CUBEDIN A/S and Forcys have announced a strategic collaboration to advance modular Mine Countermeasure (MCM) capabilities. Under a newly signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Euronaval exhibition in Paris, the two companies will integrate Forcys’ EIVA-designed MCM-in-a-box Remotely Operated Towed Vehicle (ROTV) systems within CUBEDIN’s modular platform. The collaboration is aimed at enhancing navies' operational flexibility in Mine Countermeasure (MCM), Rapid Environmental Assessment (REA), and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions.
Forcys is a global maritime defence company. Backed by 50 years of expertise in the underwater domain and an in-house developed technology portfolio, Forcys deliver, integrate and support customer-shaped solutions for navies and defence organisations, helping them to defend and project battlespace advantage above and below the surface.
The CUBEDIN concept enables naval vessels to be transformed into fully adaptable platforms, integrating diverse modules from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) such as Forcys. Through its unique software platform and physical interface, CUBEDIN makes naval ships capable of seamless, reconfigurable ‘open architecture,’ allowing adaptations to diverse mission requirements.
Key to this collaboration is the CUBEDIN Gateway, a digital interface and data translator that ensures the Forcys MCM-in-a-box can operate as an integral, ship-compatible module. The CUBEDIN Gateway enables real-time data exchange and operational control, giving shipboard and headquarters personnel full visibility and control of the system as if it were permanently installed.

Together, Forcys and CUBEDIN offer a significant enhancement in naval modular capabilities, increasing operational endurance and adaptability for global navies.”
